This year, we are celebrating a major milestone for Bowman Riley – 10 years in London!
In 2012, we decided to open a central London office to capitalise on growing opportunities in the capital and coincided with London Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Based in Yorkshire since 1968, this strategic move enabled Bowman Riley to better serve the needs of national clients and allowed us to explore new opportunities in the South of England.
The London team has gone from strength to strength from a team of two volunteers who moved from our Skipton office into serviced offices in London to a team of 14 working on a range of prestigious projects for clients including Shell, Countryside and Galliard Homes.

Bowman Riley is celebrating 50 years of designing exceptional spaces that have transformed our built environment, view our past to present timeline.
Our talented team of 60 professionals have successfully delivered 10,000 projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, hotel, leisure, industrial, residential and retail sectors.
To bring our client’s aspirations to life, we provide bespoke solutions from master planning and concept architecture to detailed design, project delivery and interior design. To complement our design services, we offer building surveying including project management and expertise in dilapidations, party wall matters and health and safety.
It is a testament to our commitment and client-centred approach that we continue to maintain relationships with long-standing clients, some of whom started the journey with us back in 1968.
As we celebrate this major milestone, we will continue to strive to lead the way in terms of quality, efficiency and sustainability to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Over 180 property professionals joined Bowman Riley’s team to enjoy drinks, canapes and cake in the stylish at East 59th, a Manhattan-style rooftop bar and grill.
Matthew Jones, Director of our Leeds office, made a speech thanking clients, partners and colleagues for supporting the company’s continued success. From a partnership of architects established in Skipton in 1968 to where it is today; a thriving design practice of 60 with three strong brands: architects, building consultancy and interior design.
