Bowman Riley has an exciting opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to join our team. This highly valued role is based in our central Leeds office. The main aim of the role is to coordinate the bid process, from identifying a bid opportunity through submission, while offering support to bid team members and stakeholders. As part of this role, you will also assist with various document control processes, procedures, and initiatives throughout the business.
To apply, you will need to:
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, including the creation of bid content
- To co-ordinate bid production for bid opportunities and prequalification questionnaires, including reading and understanding client bid documentation, deadlines, and submission requirements
- To co-ordinate bid meetings and attendees, liaise, and distribute bid-related information to the bid team and any bid stakeholders, ensure that clarification questions are posted in good time and responses communicated, arrange further meetings at key stages if required, consolidate content from contributors to the required format
- High standard of written English and good communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload around conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to work as a team player and build effective relationships with people internally
- Computer literate and proficient in using MS Office 365, particularly Word, Excel Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint, and strong general IT skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus.

Building Surveyor – Leeds
Bowman Riley has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Building Consultancy team. We are looking for a surveyor to join our dynamic team based in the Leeds office, which works across the commercial property sector.
This is a full-time position based in our Leeds office.
To apply, you will need to hold a relevant Building Surveying degree with strong experience in the following:
- An ability to communicate confidently with a range of clients
- Ability to work within a team environment, but also be capable of working independently
- Experience in building relationships with new and existing clients.
- Undertake Party Wall Award instructions
- CDM/Principal Designer Role
- Cost estimates
- Schedules of Dilapidations and negotiations
- Good Auto CAD Skills
- Building surveys for various purposes
Prepare and submit applications for consent to local authority planning and building control departments, fire officers, licensing justices, freeholders, etc., as required, and also be aware of the regulations for the Building Safety Act.
Contract Administration of various contract types, predominantly JCT
Must be able to travel as required.

Architectural Technologist – Skipton

Bowman Riley has an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join our team of qualified architects, technologists, and architectural assistants. The exciting role will offer you an opportunity to immerse yourself into working within our team, designing and delivering on various projects whilst being supported and mentored on your career path.
This is a full-time position, based at our Skipton office, where you will be an integral part of the team.
To apply, you will need:
- A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
- At least over 3 years experience working within an Architectural practice, working on various projects including healthcare, care homes and residential.
- High proficiency using both AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
- Broad experience in the production of technical drawing/detailing packages
- Competent in applying standard UK Building Regulations and an awareness of the Building Safety Act.
- Confident in coordinating and liaising with other consultants
- A flexible and positive approach to working within a team or autonomously
