Rachel Knight – Architect

Rachel Knight became a fully qualified architect in 2024, after years of dedication and hard work that have shaped her into the talented professional she is today.

She first joined our Leeds team in 2021 as a Part II Architectural Assistant, following the completion of her master’s degree at the Liverpool School of Architecture. Prior to this, Rachel gained valuable hands-on experience working with a small architectural practice in Bradford, where she contributed to residential, leisure, and education projects.

Throughout her academic journey, Rachel discovered a deep passion for social housing and community-focused design, particularly creating spaces for the “active third age.” Her commitment to these causes continues to drive her, making her work impactful and meaningful to the communities she serves.

Outside of work, she enjoys taking long walks with her chocolate Labrador, baking cakes and growing her own fruit and vegetables in her garden.
