Tells us about your career journey to date
1985 – Born!
88-2003 – school – it’s true what people say. They are the best days of your life!
2003-2006 – BA Hons Architecture at the University of Huddersfield
2006-2008 – Architectural Assistant at AWSM Architects in Calverley, Leeds
2008-2010 – Post Grad Diploma Architecture at the University of Huddersfield
2010- present-day – Worked my way up within Bowman Riley from Part II Architectural Assistant to a qualified Architect, to Associate, to Associate Director. Watch out, Michael Feather – I’m coming for the Managing Director position soon!
What’s your favourite thing about Bowman Riley?

What was your first job?
My first actual job was at Currys PC World as cashier/customer services with some occasional sales and loved it!
What attracted you to a career in the built environment?
Just always wanted to be an architect!
What’s been your career highlight to date?
Anytime we get feedback from a client saying they are happy with the service we’ve provided!
What piece of advice would you give someone entering the industry?
Don’t worry about trying to know everything. Its impossible and there’s plenty of other people to help
What’s your claim to fame?
Don’t have one and couldn’t think of anything worse than being famous!
