Bowman Riley Conference 2022
We convened our staff conference 2022 on Friday 10th June bringing together over 70 people from all our teams across our business for a day of presentations, knowledge sharing and team building.
Held at the Everyman Cinema in Leeds, we started the day with a welcome from our Managing Director, Michael Feather and then our team leaders showcased our portfolio of work in each sector and the latest trends influencing our strategies and designs.
Our projects highlighted during the conference looked incredible on the big screen accompanied by video clips, walk-throughs, animations and music.
Our guest speaker was Christine Cavanagh, Regional Director of the RIBA, who spoke passionately about the impact of the menopause on women in the workplace and the need to understand and support our colleagues.
Concluding our Conference 2022 was Tony Pleasants handing out prizes for our team members who had received outstanding external KPIs from clients or internal KPIs from colleagues for our support team members. Amongst those recognised from our technical team was Anita Rebaudo, Antony Wright, Beth Round, Laura Baarda and Joe Mills and from our business support team was Piers Harrison, Jo Grier, Rebecca Jones, Samantha Jevons and Kara Thorpe.
Due to the global pandemic, it was the first time we were able to meet in person since 2019 for our much-missed annual conference.
Following the conference, our team headed over to Roxy Ballroom to unwind and have some fun with their colleagues with an afternoon of ping pong, pool and shuffleboard.
