Last night, Colin Briggs and Helen Walker lit up the stage at the Crypt Factor, the Yorkshire property industry’s own version of the X Factor. Held at Elland Road’s Centenary Pavilion in Leeds, this event brought together some of the region’s most talented performers.
Representing Bowman Riley, Helen captivated the audience with a stunning rendition of Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’, while Colin provided a soulful accompaniment on the piano. The duo was enthusiastically cheered on by their colleagues April Marsden, Samantha Jevons, Dan Postill, Ben Stone, Rebecca Jones, and Emma Black, creating a supportive and energetic atmosphere.
Competing against eight other impressive acts, including both soloists and groups, Helen and Colin’s performance stood out and earned them a spot in the top three! This is a remarkable achievement, given the high level of talent present.
Performing in front of a thousand peers is no small feat, and both Helen and Colin displayed incredible bravery. Despite their nerves leading up to the event, they delivered a performance that will be remembered by all who attended.
The Crypt Factor is more than just a showcase of talent; it’s a charitable event that raises thousands of pounds for local charities, including St. George’s Crypt and the Yorkshire Property Charitable Trust.
A huge congratulations to Helen and Colin for their outstanding performance and their contribution to such a worthy cause. You made Bowman Riley proud!
